Fitness Technician - Part-time

p style="line-height: normal;"span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;"strongSUMMARY/strong: The Diabetes Prevention Programs at the Valentine Parker Jr Youth Prevention Center and the Four Hills of Life Wellness Center are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to join our program as a part-time Youth Fitness Technician. Incumbent will assist with implementing after-school and weekend activities and supervise open evening hours. The after school hours will be filled with teaching, coordinating, carrying out, and supervising activities and guiding youth in personal growth. Evening hours will include supervising open gym hours as well as picking up the facility and preparing activities for the next day. The candidate will manage groups of youth, maintain daily records of youth and programs, and supervise activities and open gym hours. We seek candidates who will serve as a positive role model for youth, staff, and community members by demonstrating positive, healthy behaviors.
