Actively participates in and implements the security management program/span/p olli style="list-style-type:none" ollispan style="font-size:12pt" Monitors hospital CCTV system, alarm systems, and communication equipment, dispatching staff as needed/span/lilispan style="font-size:12pt"Implements hospital access control procedures at all hospital entrances/span/lilispan style="font-size:12pt"Responds to emergency calls, making initial assessments of situations using tact, diplomacy, and judgment/span/lilispan style="font-size:12pt"Resolves violent and potentially violent situations/span/lilispan style="font-size:12pt"Intervenes with individuals attempting to impose physical harm to themselves or who are posing a threat to others or to hospital property/span/lilispan style="font-size:12pt"Provides security and protection to Hospital patients, visitors, employees and customers by patrolling areas/span/lilispan style="font-size:12pt"Completes necessary departmental forms, reports, and logs in a timely and detailed manner/span/li/ol /li/ol pspan style="font-size:12pt"B. Enforces the laws of the State of California and the policies and procedures of the Hospital./span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt"C. Greets all customers, offering assistance as needed./span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt"D. Maintains and wears complete and neat uniform per department dress code./span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt"E. Observes and reports faulty and/or unsafe equipment, including fire and safety related items./span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt"F. Carries out safety and infection control procedures to ensure customer and employee safety./span/p pspan style="font-size:12pt"G.
