Other duties may be required and assigned./span/emspan style="color:inherit;" /span/pol style="margin-left: -0.5in; margin-bottom: 3pt;"lispan style="color:inherit;"Works to achieve involvement and participation of the client, client's family, and client's natural support system in resolving problems. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Works with consumers to assess and develop goal oriented, time limited service plans to address identified needs. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Work to protect children, elderly and at-risk adults; preserve families and individuals in the community; or to help prevent out-of-home placement. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Assesses and evaluates prospective consumer's immediate situation, determine appropriate response, and assure that response is made. Assess and intervene as necessary in crisis situations. Refer to and involve and other community resources as needed. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Works to achieve active involvement and participation of schools, court, health care providers, and other appropriate community resources in resolving problems. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Advises clients when services are either not available or inappropriate. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Explains consequences of non-compliance with court orders to clients who are involuntarily referred, monitors client utilization of services, and informs the court of consumer's adherence to court orders. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Coordinates access to services, monitors cases to ensuress/s services are provided in an appropriate and timely manner, reviews progress, and terminates services when goals are attained. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Teaches clients about available community resources and how to independently gain access to needed services. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Works to coordinate services and support clients in achieving treatment objectives without duplication of effort and with maximum effective use of staff time and available resources. /span/lilispan style="color:inherit;"Maintains a complete record for all assigned cases; andnbsp;/liliEmployed full-time in Child Protection Initial Assessment, Child Protection ongoing case management, Community Support case management, or crisis linkage/follow-up case management.nbsp;/liliMust successfully pass caregiver and criminal background check.nbsp;/li/ul/ph2Other Qualifications/h2p•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;Knowledge of laws and regulations that affect the delivery of services provided by the Department.br•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;Knowledge of community resources, and alternative care resources.br•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;Knowledge of applicable state statutes.br•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;Knowledge of human development and behavior, family and group dynamics, and mental, physical and social dysfunctions.br•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural differences and special needs of various minority groups, and ability to consult with other staff regarding these.br•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;Ability and skill to relate to clients in stressful or crisis situations.br•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;General knowledge of interviewing and supportive counseling techniques.br•nbsp; nbsp;nbsp;General knowledge of social casework techniques.br•nbsp;
