Robinson as we connect the world!/pp/ppbDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/b/ppThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliReceive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages/liliOperate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargo/liliLoad and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner/liliPrepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparation/liliSign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damages/liliMaintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees/liliStage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization/liliEnsure proper warehouse organization through the use of warehouse booking-in sheets or Warehouse Management System (site specific)/liliHandle logistics accounts, picking, packing, inventory reporting/stock checks as needed to achieve quality standards outlined in standard operating procedures (SOP) or customer requirements, including reworking, or recouping of freight/liliRecommend process improvements, resulting in problem resolution and efficiency gains/liliContribute to the development of new SOPs related to new business, product, or process changes/liliSupport the onboarding and training of new staff assigned to an area/department/liliSite Specific: Regular duties include cross-functional areas such as receiving, loading, picking, shipping, etc./liliSite Specific: Completion of weekly bond checks/liliSite Specific: Execute Dock-to-Stock procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining building perimeter security and challenging anything or anyone untoward/liliSite Specific: Handle bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage (ERTS) facility in accordance with regulations and breakdown of inbound ULD’s as required/li/ulp/ppbQUALIFICATIONS/b/ppRequired:/pulliMust be at least 18 years old/liliMinimum 6 months of previous C.H.
