Responsibilities: bJob Summary/bbrbrUnder the direction of the supervisor, this position must perform all functions related to a minimum of two modalities: including CT or MRI or serve the Hybrid OR in addition to general Radiology Technologist duties.brMust perform all functions related to a minimum of two of the following modalities: Radiology, CT or MRI or serve the Hybrid OR in addition to general Radiology Technologist duties.brAssists physician in a variety of procedures within specified guidelines as demonstrated by documentation.brDemonstrates proficiency in performing procedures. All procedures will be conducted in accordance with proper procedures and within specified timeframes as ordered and directed.brAssists physicians with procedures as needed.brObtains accurate and pertinent clinical and patient history within specified guidelines. Answers patient questions and explains procedures.brOperates equipment within specifications as demonstrated by observation and audit.brObtains and evaluates images for technical quality assurance factors including image laterality marking and annotation as required by specified procedure protocols. Utilizes RIS, PACS and other, ancillary image management systems as needed.brPlans, schedules, and coordinates daily workflow for the department’s activities.brMaintains equipment in efficient operating order. Performs and documents all required quality control testing. Contacts service for repair and maintenance as directed.brRotates throughout the department as staffing and volume dictates.brParticipates in orientation, training, and in-servicing of staff, as needed.brMaintains an orderly, clean and safe environment of patients and staff in assigned area. Maintains stock and inventory as assigned.brPerforms other duties as assigned.brbrbEducation/bbrHigh School Diploma or GED bRequired/bbrAssociate's Degree PreferredbrbrbExperience/bbr10 months clinical CT, MRI, Hybrid OR or one (1) year general radiology experience bRequired/bbr2 years experience in two or more modalities PreferredbrbrbLicenses and Certifications/bbrAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Current and valid American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Completion of an ARRT accredited Radiology General Procedures program or US military Radiology General Procedures training program RequiredbrCertified Radiologic Technologist (CRTLC) Current and valid AZ CRT Licensure bRequired/bbrRadiology Tech (ARRT) License Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (RT) bRequired/bbrBasic Life Support (BLS) Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification bRequired/bbrIf CT is secondary modality - CTP (Computed Tomography preceptor license) and achieve ARRT CT registry and AZ CTCT licensure within 1 year. bRequired/bbrIf MRI is secondary modality - ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification/registry bRequired/b Facility: Sonoran Crossing Medical Center Department: Complete Care-Lake Pleasant Work Hours: 0700-1930 Shift: Day Position Type: PRN
