What You’ll Do In this critical role, you’ll:
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in leading and coordinating warehouse operations.
- Oversee receiving, inventory control, and the organization of warehouse materials.
- Supervise and support staff in order picking, packing, and inventory movement.
- Standardize procedures, manage workflows, and ensure efficient material storage and utilization.
- Promote safety, staff development, and a positive work environment.
- Interact with multiple departments, from shipping and receiving to production and sales.
What We’re Looking For To excel in this position, you’ll need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent, with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A team-oriented, respectful, and professional approach to leadership.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
Physical requirements include the ability to frequently lift 25–35 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs).
