Warehouse Receiving Clerk

BTX Global Logistics is expanding their eCommerce fulfillment center. Our warehousing operation in Shelton, CT is a boutique fulfillment center. We offer our clients an all-in-one solution that completes the entire supply chain, from manufacture to consumer/retailer. We are looking for an experience warehouse worker who has the knowledge of proper receiving etiquette and can be productive throughout the entire work day. The employee will be responsible for receiving inbound freight, properly entering data into WMS along with handling outbound freight. The employee must also be able to accomplish duties such as picking, packing and scanning orders for small parcel shipments. The goal of BTX is to bring onboard a vibrant person who can help increase efficiency, become a strong team member and share their past knowledge along with the ability to gain new knowledge.

Responsibilities Include:

Inventory Management

Receive and stock warehouse products

Proper receiving, binning and labeling of online products

Manage inventory bins to maximize efficiency and space

Perform cycle counts to audit all inventory, monthly and annually

Restock inventory, and maintain daily inventory accuracy

Order Fulfillment

Pick and pack online orders accurately and efficiently using our internal system

Identify any issues after packing, including any potential issues for customer service

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

Load packages into UPS/FedEx/USPS trucks

Maintain warehouse organization (i. e. clean warehouse, daily box breakdown, trash disposal, sweeping and mopping

Daily preparation for following day, including box management, supply refills, and an organized pack table

Receive and organize pallet shipments and incoming daily packages

Summary of Experience and Education:

· High School Degree or equivalent required

· Forklift Certification required

· Warehouse Management System experience required

· Minimum 3 years hands-on operational experience within a Freight Forwarding Environment

· IATA DG certification preferred, but not required.

· Domestic experience mandatory, including routing, documents, AWB and BOL preparation, and carrier knowledge

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Ability to lift heavy up to 30lbs

· A proven diverse background in all aspects of Domestic freight forwarding and operations within a dynamic growth environment

· Working knowledge of TSA regulations

· Excellent time management and organization skills

· Strong basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
