Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and submit accurate invoices to customers
• Review contracts and change orders to ensure proper billing compliance
• Work closely with internal and external teams to gather necessary billing information
• Track and follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain billing schedules and ensure deadlines are met
• Coordinate with the accounting team on accounts receivable and collections
• Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payment status
• Assist in monthly closing processes and provide billing reports as needed
• Ensure billing procedures comply with internal controls and company policies
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation for audits and internal use
• Making collections calls as needed on outstanding accounts
• Specialist accounting projects as needed

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or billing roles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office tools.

• Experience working in a high volume billing and invoicing environment

• Strong communication

• Ability to make collections calls as needed (minimal)

• Proactive problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies effectively.
