Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - Now Hiring

Location: Byers, CO (30 minutes east of Denver; other sites within 1 hour)
Assignment Duration: 3 6 months
Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Schedule & Coverage

• Workdays: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
• Hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch, clinic closed 12 1 PM)
• Weekly Hours: (includes admin time)
• Patient Volume: 20 patients/day
• Coverage Locations: Primarily at a community health clinic, with occasional shifts at nearby rural sites
• Team Support: Another NP on-site 3 days/week; physician coverage available 1 day/week

Clinical Scope

• Practice Area: Primary Care / Family Medicine
• Procedures: Joint injections, toenail removals, lesion removals
• Patient Population: Outpatient family practice, all ages (emphasis on adult & geriatric)
• Clinic Setting: Freestanding; transitioning to a Rural Health Clinic
• Independence: May not always have an on-site physician autonomy and rural practice experience preferred

Credentialing Requirements

• Active Colorado medical license & DEA
• Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS (valid 30 days)
• Board certification (if applicable)
• Case logs & CAQH number
