Pizza Cook

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and serve pizzas quickly and efficiently during peak times
• Operate pizza ovens and food prep equipment safely and correctly
• Stretch dough, apply toppings, and maintain portion and quality control
• Prep ingredients and restock stations as needed throughout the shift
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with health codes
• Handle food orders from walk-up guests and event attendees with speed and accuracy
• Work independently in a small-space concession trailer environment
• Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs
• Provide friendly, attentive service to bocce players and facility guests

Requirements:

• Proven experience making pizzas in a high-volume food service or similar environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, small-team setting
• Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Availability for nights, weekends, and special events
• Food Handler’s Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred:

• Experience working in a food truck, trailer, or concession-style setup
• Familiarity with bocce leagues or recreational facility operations is a plus

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in the food & restaurant industry
• 16 years or older
• Food Service license/certification: ServSafe Food Handler Certification
• Food Service license/certification: Food Handler's License
• Restaurant back of house skills: fry station
• Restaurant back of house skills: pizza preparation
• Restaurant back of house skills: catering setup & prep
• Restaurant back of house skills: safe food handling
• Restaurant back of house skills: general food prep
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
• Available to work: weekdays
