Production Supervisor

Duties and responsibilities;
• Assist with training of team members.
• Oversee the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the assigned team.
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Monitor cycle times of the operators.
• Ensure that the necessary equipment is available and in working order to complete assignments.
• Lead team in conducting daily safety checks on equipment, including forklift trucks.
• Inspect quality and quantity of parts produced.
• Verification of finished skids in meeting company quality standards, ensuring that it has the appropriate labels, and operator initials.
• Keep team members informed about rules, regulations, policies, and objectives.
• Maintain detailed and accurate work records.
• Collaborate with the team to identify ways to improve department effectiveness; implement viable ideas.
• Resolve conflicts that arise among team members and/or other employees.
• Assist the material handler where or if needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Report daily attendance.
• Prepare daily shift reports and send, via email, to the appropriate personnel.
• Supply training records needed while ensuring that they are filled out appropriately, verify that the operator can run the required process independently, and turn in to production manager.
• Work weekends whenever assigned shift is working.
Qualifications
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to motivate the team to accomplish objectives.
• Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers.
• Ability to remain organized.
• Basic understanding of records, inventories, and other routine documentation used in the warehouse.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• At least two years of related work experience required
