• Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN | Hybrid
• Compensation: $80,000 - $85,000 annually
• 6 month contract

What you will do as a Senior Accountant:

• Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory filings, and compliance requirements
• Manage fixed assets, building, and equipment leases
• Prepare and analyze financial packets for foundation and community giving programs
• Serve as a point of contact for financial business partners, providing insights and guidance
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc reporting needs
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance

What you will bring to the Senior Accountant role:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience), with 5–7 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and proven experience with audits and compliance requirements
• Critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and present clear insights
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Proficiency with accounting software; Great Plains experience a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in reporting
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present professionally
• Health insurance industry knowledge is a plus
