Position Title: Breaking Labor

Wage: $17.25/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)

We’re hiring for a Breaking Labor role for a company in Britt, IA. Be part of a nationwide leader in value-added food production, supplying high-quality egg and potato products to major foodservice and retail brands. Work in a fast-paced, modern facility that prioritizes food safety, innovation, and team success—where every role plays a part in feeding families across the country. This is an associate to hire role.

Breaking Labor Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure egg quality and prevent contamination during the breaking process
- Operate machines efficiently based on daily production needs
- Follow USDA regulations and safety procedures
- Monitor machine cleanliness, pressure, chemical levels, and flat fullness
- Clean, dry, tag flats, and handle material stacking and hauling
- Maintain GMP, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Communicate with supervisors and maintenance on safety and production concerns

Breaking Labor Requirements:
- Stand in one spot for 8-hour to 10-hour days               
- Repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting              
- Repetitive lifting of 20-40 pounds and on occasion 70 pounds
- Repetitive motions with shoulders and wrists - gripping, reaching, squeezing      
- Work for prolonged hours in 35-40 degrees temperatures        
- A proven track record of several years of solid work history (please include details of your work experience on your resume)
- Previous experience in food production is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive work environment
- Ability to effectively work, not get distracted, and pay attention to the job at hand in these working conditions
- Reliable, dependable, and responsible
