Do you have Quality Assurance experience? This position is working Full Time work, 4 days per week with every Friday off!  Our client is located in Appleton and is looking for a quick learner and someone who demonstrates initiative to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and test finished product samples for moisture, fat content and send samples to the outside lab for testing 
• Keep spreadsheets up to date
• Create Certificates of analysis reports from the test results sent by the lab
• ATP & Environmental monitoring (testing machines and other areas for cleanliness) 
• Walkthrough production rooms to ensure employees are following manufacturing practices, Standard Operation Procedures, policies, etc. 
• Spot checking the product for quality.  Check that the jars are sealed, best by dates are correct, etc.
• Head-up and organize employee trainings and meetings with the Administrative Assistant  
• Work closely with Safe Quality Food Practitioner and Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals
• Work with management, customers, and vendors regarding any complaints 
• Order environmental testing supplies, as well as sanitation chemicals
  
  

General Information: 

Hours: 40 hours per week, 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday -Thursday

Length: Temporary to hire

Pay: $20/hour-$21/hour, based on experience

• Quality assurance experience and/or experience working in a manufacturing industry
• Food industry experience is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Must be okay working on the plant floor at times
• Word and Excel skills, any ERP knowledge is a plus 
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Quick learner and demonstrate initiative
