Job Title: 2nd Shift Saw Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator for the 2nd shift, working from 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. Training may occur on a flexible schedule, potentially starting at 11am and ending at 7:30pm. This role involves managing the entire process of completing work orders, from interpreting customer color codes to setting up and operating saw equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer color codes accurately.
• Set up and operate saw equipment efficiently.
• Read and interpret tape measures and measuring instruments down to 1/16".
• Pull required parts from the warehouse and place finished parts back into the warehouse.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in production and saw operation.
• Ability to interpret tape measures and measuring instruments.
• Experience in a machine shop or steel environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SAP/computer skills.
• Knowledge of burn table, CNC, and bandsaw operation.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate lift equipment such as forklifts and cranes.

Work Environment

The role is based in a machine shop environment that is non-temperature controlled. Employees should be prepared to be on their feet for 10-12 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hixson, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
