Complex Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Title: Litigation Associate – Palo Alto

Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a high-performing national firm in Palo Alto. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of complex litigation experience, strong research, writing, and analytical skills, and a demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Managing all stages of discovery

• Appearing in court and assisting in oral arguments and hearings

• Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy

• Supporting clients in litigation and regulatory enforcement matters

Qualifications:

• J.D. (Class of 2020–2022)

• Admission to the California Bar

• Excellent communication and writing skills

• Judicial clerkship experience preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary range of $260,000 – $365,000, commensurate with experience
