Schedule: Monday–Friday
OverviewEastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a temporary opportunity in New Berlin, WI with one of our valued partners in the food manufacturing industry. This role is essential to ensuring efficient and safe operations of mechanical and electrical production systems. Responsibilities- Conduct maintenance, inspections, PMs, and installations on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using testing equipment and schematics.
- Assist in upgrades and installations of new equipment and systems in compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work in CMMS.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Respond to equipment emergencies to avoid production delays.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety and food safety procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility and production equipment.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in the maintenance and production areas.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification in electrical technology preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally in a food or manufacturing environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands for tools/equipment.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Must meet vision requirements including depth perception and color vision.
Work Environment
- Use of power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical devices.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and moderate noise.
