Job Summary
Performs all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials needed.
• Performs tire replacement and minor maintenance services
• Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required
• Mounts tires on the wheel assembly and inflates tires as required
• Check tire balances to ensure proper weight placement
• Performs short road test to ensure proper repair solutions
• Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations

Desired Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of tire and auto service processes and procedures.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications
  • Knowledge of Mitchell Repair and All-Data
  • Knowledge and hands on experience with Tire Machines, Wheel Balancers, Flat Repairs, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience
