Senior Paralegal

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. In this role, you will provide advanced legal support across a range of corporate, regulatory, and litigation matters. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage legal documents, including contracts, NDAs, and corporate governance documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare reports or memoranda for attorneys
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and production
• Maintain and organize legal files and databases
• Coordinate with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders
• Support litigation and regulatory filings, including case management and calendaring
• Assist with due diligence and corporate transactions, including M&A and financings
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
• 7+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
• Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in corporate law, employment law, or insurance
• Previous experience supporting in-house counsel
• Notary Public certification (a plus)
