Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Litchfield, Minnesota.

Primary responsibility is working in the L&D unit but MUST also do postpartum/nursery/mother-baby couplet care and take patient assignment floating on Medical/Surgical unit.

\n

• # Beds- 4 and 2 overflow.

\n

• # births per Month – 8 to 15.

\n

• Certs- ACLS, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP.

\n

• Ratios- Active labor 1:1; triage 1: 3-4.

\n

• Weekend Requirement- every 3rd (Fri, Sat, Sun).

\n

• Call Requirement -none.

\n

• Holidays-every third holiday (could be more to fill the needs of the facility)--rotate with perm staff.

\n

• Scrub Color- Any color/pattern - MUST be clean, not torn, good condition.

\n

• Shifts 7-7 respectively.

\n

• C-section experience required - MUST be comfortable prepping but not required to assist (will be responsible for baby post-delivery).

\n

• Floating - Med Surg – must be able to take an assignment of 3-4 (maybe 5) on night shifts.

\n

• Floor specific orientation- 2-3 depending on comfort.
