American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient PT position in Hartsville, SC, requiring an active SC PT license and AHA BLS certification.
Details- Outpatient physical therapy setting at a community hospital
- Schedule is Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM–12:30 PM
- Occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations approximately every 5 weeks
- 13-week contract
- Minimum 2 years of recent PT experience; hospital experience preferred
- Active SC PT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS certification required; must be issued through the American Heart Association
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and executing individualized treatment programs, educating patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation, and supervising PT assistants and aides
- Prior work history at a Community Health facility (permanent or contract) may be relevant to eligibility
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- All certifications must be valid and not set to expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- RQI and RCIS certifications are not accepted for BLS
