Hematology/Oncology Physician - Now Hiring

Coastal Oregon Hematology-Oncology - Flexible Part-Time Schedule

We have an opportunity for a Hematology-Oncology physician to provide ongoing locums coverage in a great Oregon location less than an hour from the coast. This assignment offers a predictable schedule, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.

Highlights

• Focus on quality patient care with a low volume of about 10 patients per shift.
• This is a long-term interim assignment with ongoing needs.

Practice Setting

• Work in a supportive outpatient clinic environment.
• The patient population consists entirely of adults.
• Collaborate with a full team of RNs, MAs, and an advanced practice provider.

Schedule

• Only three days of coverage are needed per week.
• This is an ongoing assignment starting in late fall.
• All shifts are scheduled during the day.

Procedures and Cases

• See patients for general hematology and oncology cases.
• Provide care for both new and follow-up appointments.
• Experience with bone marrow biopsies is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
• An active Oregon state medical license is required.
• Must have an active BLS certification.

Credentialing Requirements

• Our team will provide full support through the credentialing process.
• The credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.
