**Job Title: IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-Hour Night Shift**

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IMCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team for a 12-hour night shift position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in medical-surgical nursing, intermediate care unit (IMCU), and emergency department (ED) settings, with at least 3-5 years of clinical experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMCU, ED, and other units as required.
- Perform essential nursing procedures, including starting IVs, administering medications, and monitoring patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Float to various units as needed, demonstrating adaptability and comprehensive clinical skills.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation in the EPIC system.
- Participate in patient education and advocacy, ensuring clear communication with patients and their families.
- Manage and operate medical equipment, including ventilators and other respiratory support systems.

**Requirements:**
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of one year experience in IMCU, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry.
- Recent experience with EPIC EMR (within the last two years) is required.
- Ability to float to different departments as needed.

**Work Schedule:**
- Shift hours: 11 PM - 11 AM, three shifts per week, including every other weekend.
- 36-hour workweek guaranteed.

**Patient Demographics:**
- Care for a diverse patient population aged 0-100 with a variety of diagnoses.

**Additional Information:**
- This role involves a comprehensive orientation program lasting 3 days to ensure seamless integration into the unit.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage fluctuating nurse-to-patient ratios and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation is essential, as public transportation is not available in the area.
