Carpenter

Job Summary:

We’re a growing residential remodeling company looking for a skilled and dependable Lead Carpenter / Handyman / Remodel Foreman to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, takes pride in their work, and can manage projects from start to finish. You'll lead day-to-day operations on job sites, oversee subcontractors, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship in every phase of construction and renovation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage residential remodel projects from demo to final walkthrough

• Perform hands-on carpentry and general handyman work

• Supervise subcontractors and laborers onsite

• Maintain quality control and job site safety

• Read and interpret construction plans and scopes of work

• Communicate with clients and project managers regularly

• Track materials, timelines, and progress to stay on schedule

• Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues as they arise

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling or finish carpentry

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Skilled in framing, drywall, trim, cabinetry, tile, and general handyman tasks

• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions

• Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing small crews

• Familiarity with local building codes and inspections

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

• Comfortable using smartphone apps for job tracking and communication
