Customer Service Representative

Job description:

Successful medical supply company located in Buffalo Grove has an immediate full time opportunity to join their Customer Service team. Seeking individual to handle a heavy call volume assisting with orders and answering questions relating to their product line – 30,000+ items in the inventory line.

Duties:

• Log in and ready to take customer calls immediately at the beginning of each day
• Maintain company's high standards of customer service as it relates to phone and internet orders by maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing errors
• Handle customer complaints in a concerned, sympathetic tone within a timely manner
• Investigate complaints and determine best practices to prevent similar issues in the future
• Log detailed records of customer interactions regarding complaints, returns and other concerns on customer’s account
• Troubleshoot with customers who have questions using website
• Display enthusiasm and willingness to develop in all areas of customer service by gaining knowledge and skill
• Familiarize with products and utilize catalog/internet to find products for customers – 30,000 SKU’s in product line
• Follow department and company procedures
• Handle off the phone projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Knowledge of dentistry and dental supplies a huge plus
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Bachelor’s Degree a plus
• PC proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to gather, organize and clearly present detailed information
