The ideal candidate will possess strong MRI technical skills, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, and will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatric, adults, and geriatrics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct MRI scans adhering to safety protocols and procedures. - Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. - Process and analyze image data, utilizing advanced imaging techniques. - Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or necessary repairs. - Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care. - Educate patients about the MRI process, addressing any concerns or questions. - Participate in continuing education and training activities to maintain certifications. **Required Skills and Certifications:** - Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience (first-time travelers will not be accepted). - Proficient in MRI imaging techniques including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion imaging, and more. - Certifications: ARRT MR*, ARRT R, and BLS. - Familiarity with GE and Siemens MRI machines is preferred. - Experience with patient documentation and communication systems (Epic familiarity is a plus). **Job Details:** - Shift: 5x8 hours (M-F, 14::00). - Contract duration: 13 weeks. - Orientation will occur in the first week and candidates must be available for training. - No mandatory call or weekend shifts. - Candidates may be required to float to other units based on staffing needs. **Patient Demographics:** - Familiarity with working with diverse patient populations, particularly neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics, is preferred. **Special Requirements:** - Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities effectively. - Compliance with fatigue policy: no more than 5 consecutive workdays and no more than 60 hours in a week.
