Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM or until cases are completed
• Variable days off with no self-scheduling
• Call requirements include 1-2 weeknight calls from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend call may be required 1-2 weekends per month
• Must be flexible to work holidays when needed
• 30-minute call response time - must be in OR dressed and ready
• May occasionally need to stay late to complete cases
• Required certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred
• Must have 1-2 years of cardiovascular OR experience, travel experience preferred
• Must be well-rounded with cardio and vascular procedures
• Open heart and endovascular experience required
• Vascular hybrid experience preferred
• Circulating required, scrubbing is a bonus
• Handle 8-14 varied vascular, thoracic, and heart cases daily
• Common procedures include open heart, CABG, valve replacements, thoracic cases, vascular procedures, AAA, and IVC filters
• May float to main OR or within skill set as needed
• Work with 2 dedicated heart rooms, 1 hybrid suite, and 1-2 open surgical rooms
• Up to 1 week orientation with preceptor
• Scrubs provided
• Must be flexible team player willing to pick up call as needed
• EMR system: Cerner Surginet
