**Job Title: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist**
**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00)
**Contract Duration:** 13 Weeks

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in both Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs. This position requires accuracy in monitoring, preparation of access sites, equipment setup, and maintenance of a sterile field during procedures.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Accurate monitoring of patients during cardiac procedures.
- Setup and maintenance of necessary equipment for various interventional cardiac procedures.
- Prep access sites for catheterizations and interventions.
- Recognize and react to life-threatening arrhythmias effectively.
- Maintain a sterile environment while scrubbing in for procedures.
- Participate in on-call duties; expected to provide coverage from 08:00-18:00 on designated on-call days.
- Availability to work weekends and provide weekend on-call support as scheduled (details will be discussed during the interview).

**Qualifications:**
- Current ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Demonstrated experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab procedures.
- Familiarity with charting systems, specifically within community hospital settings.
- Must be fully vaccinated, including COVID-19 booster (medical/religious exemptions considered).
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Skills:**
- Proficient in various interventional procedures including, but not limited to, angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy.
- Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Experience in equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Capable of performing EKG lead placements and supporting dialysis interventions.

- Daily Census: 12 patients
- Number of Cardiac Cath Labs: 2

**Additional Information:**
- Valid state license is required at the time of submission (pending licenses not accepted).
- Background checks and unit-based competency assessments are part of the compliance process.
- Travelers will be required to work every other weekend in certain units.
