We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our team in a long-term hybrid/onsite contract role based in Madison, WI. This individual will play a key role in managing and supporting a Salesforce environment of approximately 200 users, handling both daily administration and long-term support initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform user management tasks: add/remove users, manage security settings, troubleshoot field-level issues.
  • Provide overall Salesforce Administration, including customization and ongoing maintenance.
  • Support daily system operations by working through ticketing systems in coordination with the help desk team.
  • Document processes, issues, and resolutions for clear communication and future reference.
  • Ensure a positive end-user experience by addressing requests, resolving issues, and engaging effectively with business users.
  • Provide general support for server/desktop administration tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administration: 1+ years of experience in customization and administration.
  • Technical Knowledge: General understanding of server/desktop administration to provide support when required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to engage with end users, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure a positive user experience.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible workload and handle daily support requests.

Environment:

  • Salesforce user base: ~200 users
  • Hybrid/onsite role in Madison, WI

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a Jack-of-all-Trades (JOAT) type of administrator, with the versatility to manage Salesforce operations while also lending general IT support as needed.

• At least 1 year of experience in Salesforce customization and administration.
• Familiarity with server and desktop administration tasks, including Active Directory and Windows environments.
• Strong communication skills to engage with end users and deliver excellent customer service.
• Proven ability to document processes and maintain organized records.
• Experience handling service desk tickets and addressing daily support requests.
• Proficiency in working with Windows Server and Windows 10.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic workload and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Previous experience with Salesforce Platform tools and functionalities.
