ICU Stepdown RN - $20K Sign on

We are seeking an ICU Stepdown RN to join our team! This person will provide specialized care for critical patients as well as focus on patient treatment and recovery.

Available Shifts:

• Days (Rotating Weekends)
• Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Job Summary ​​​​​​:

We are seeking a dynamic ICU Step Down RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care for patients that need close monitoring and frequent assessments. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Use clinical judgment to manage delivery of patient care safely and effectively
• Monitor critical vital signs enabling intervention of life threatening situations
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of Recent Acute Care ICU Stepdown RN experience. *would be interested in speaking with candidates that have 3 years of Cardiac PCU or Multisystem PCU experience!
• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. 
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date

Shift Differentials: $4.50 nights; $1.50 weekends

Sign On:

• For Day Shift: $15k 
• For Night Shift: $20k

Relocation: Case by Case
