Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a dedicated professional to support students in a school setting located near Joliet, IL. This role focuses on delivering specialized behavioral and social work services throughout the upcoming school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) with accurate data collection
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to address and manage student behaviors
  • Apply knowledge of behavior programming and implement targeted interventions
  • Conduct assessments utilizing tools such as VB-MAPP, Socially Savvy, ABBLS, Vineland, Functional Analysis, and Kindergarten Readiness Assessments
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 plan meetings to advocate for student needs
  • Deliver one-on-one and small group interventions tailored to individual student goals
  • Consult with school social workers regarding Social Emotional Learning (SEL) objectives
  • Coordinate with outside providers to ensure comprehensive student support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Education or Special Education
  • Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Prior experience working within school environments greatly advantageous

Position Details:

  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday
  • Contract-based role located near Joliet, IL
