Special Ed Teacher - Eastman, Georgia

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time special education teaching position is available at a high school in Eastman, GA, for the school year (August 1 - May 26). This contract role involves managing a caseload of approximately 10 high school students requiring specialized educational support. The teacher will provide both resource room instruction and co-teaching services to support student learning in inclusive classroom settings.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized instruction tailored to students' IEP goals.
• Collaborating with general education teachers through co-teaching models.
• Managing prehensive case documentation, assessments, and student progress reports.
• municating regularly with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting social and emotional development alongside academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid state special education teaching certification.
• Experience working with high school students in special education settings.
• Ability to implement resource room and co-teaching instructional strategies.
• Strong organizational skills for case management and documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and munication skills.
