Schools - Occupational Therapist

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatric school-based services. This opportunity involves working two days per week with an elementary school population. The role is located approximately 45 miles west of downtown Chicago in Aurora, IL, with an expected immediate start date.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services and interventions tailored to elementary-aged students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing strategies for student success

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure for Illinois
• Experience working with school-aged children in an educational setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to implement evidence-based interventions to support student development
• Availability for a two-day per week commitment
