Job Description\nAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a night shift travel assignment, requiring ARDMS and/or RVT certification and 3-5 years of ultrasound experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n- Position is located in a hospital environment
- Night shift only, working 3x12 hour shifts Friday through Sunday
- Ultrasound procedures performed in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Patient population includes newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, and geriatric individuals
- Use of system workflows such as PACS, EMR, and modality worklist integrity required
- Must be able to perform high-quality ultrasound procedures independently and efficiently
- Responsible for preparing patients, verifying documentation, and maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness
- Must adhere to infection control, safety, and patient care protocols
- Scrub color may be any color except inappropriate prints
- Will interact with and provide instruction to patients and families regarding procedures
- 50-mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted
- Returning employees will be evaluated for eligibility prior to placement
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Certification required: ARDMS and/or RVT
- Active TX license required if applicable
- Must provide two professional references for consideration
- Current flu vaccination is required with no exemptions during flu season
