Job Title: Summer 2026 Process Optimization Intern – Product Stewardship
Summary:As a Process Optimization Intern on our Product Stewardship team, you will support global initiatives that enhance regulatory compliance and streamline business processes through digitization and automation. You will work on projects involving data governance, dashboard development, and workflow optimization, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and gaining exposure to industry tools and global operations. This role offers a unique blend of strategic thinking and hands-on experience in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.
Responsibilities Include:
+ The role of Product Stewardship is to combine product and regulatory expertise to support business growth and ensure that Momentive products are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Our Team is focused on improving our business processes we utilize to accomplish our role for ensuring compliance and supporting business growth. There are several projects identified to automate, digitize and streamline our business processes. They include but are not limited to:
+ Efforts to support new IT systems integration; efforts include process mapping and development or enhancements to existing systems to enable integration.
+ Development and enhancements of Product Stewardship informational dashboards through Power BI or other platforms, for communication of data and information to Momentive business segments.
+ Enhancement of Product Stewardship data governance through migration of regulatory documents that are metadata tagged for searchability and globally accessible.
+ Develop workflows through Power Platform or other collaboration software to automate business processes that are currently conducted through email.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
+ Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
+ Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
+ Strong communication skills
+ Self-motivated and collaborative, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and deliver reliably in dynamic environments
Program Qualifications:
+ The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship.
+ The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
The following requirements are preferred:
+ Project management experience or coursework is a plus
What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
