Endocrinology Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• End Date: 6-month contract
• Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • First patient at 8:20 am
• Call coverage may be needed every 3-4 months

Clinical Details

• 18-20 patients per day
  • 20-minute follow-ups, 40-minute new patient appointments
• Call coverage involves inpatient consults
  • will not have patients in clinic while on call
• Support Staff: Experienced team available
• 100% adult endocrinology
• Diabetes Education Nutrition Counseling program
• Will be asked to assist in monitoring inbaskets

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Endocrinology
• Ability to manage Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes patients, including insulin pumps
• A thorough understanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions
• VA license highly preferred
• AHA Certifications required
