- Coverage Dates:
- November 3-9
- December 22-28
- Call coverage only (no clinic)
- Must be available to come in if treatment is required
- Surgical Procedures May Include:
- Trauma: Open globe repair, eyelid laceration repair
- Ocular lid procedures for therapeutic treatment
- Canthotomy/Cantholysis for orbital compartment syndrome
- Draining of abscesses
- Trauma Level: II
- Patients: Unassigned rounding
- EMR: Epic
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology - Required
- Active North Carolina Medical License - Required
- BLS - Required
- Fellowship - Preferred
- Call Type: Beeper
- On-Site Response Time: Within 1 hour
