What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in molecular biology of plants or fungi, genomics, or a related field.

The degree requirement is necessary to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience using molecular techniques to characterize cellular or organismal phenotypes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in genomic library preparation.
  • Experience working with filamentous fungi.
  • Experience in command line bioinformatic analysis.
  • Experience working on transcriptional regulation or epigenomics.
