Responsibilities

Perform a full range of services and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including diagnostics, engine work, and electrical systems.

Ensure all repairs and maintenance work is carried out to the highest standard, meeting manufacturer and dealership requirements.

Utilize diagnostic tools to identify vehicle issues accurately and provide detailed repair recommendations.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency in the service area.

Collaborate with team members and service advisors to ensure transparent communication with customers regarding vehicle repairs and timelines.

Stay informed of the latest automotive technologies and maintain certifications in automotive repair.


Requirements

Certification: ASE certification in relevant specialties is highly desirable.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as an automotive technician, particularly with heavy-duty vehicles.

Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic systems.

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift heavy parts and machinery, and operate tools and equipment effectively.

Problem Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical and electronic issues accurately and efficiently.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to clients and teammates clearly.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards.

Availability: Willingness to work extended hours and weekends if necessary to meet demand and deadlines.
