Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join our Dallas, TX office. This is an in-office role requiring a self-motivated, licensed professional with a deep understanding of both personal and commercial lines, as well as a proven ability to generate their own leads and build a book of business in the Alabama insurance market. You’ll have the infrastructure, technology, and leadership support to scale—but the hustle must come from you.
Primary Responsibilities
· Actively prospect and close new clients through outbound sales, cold calls, networking, and community presence.
· Conduct detailed risk assessments and present tailored solutions across P&C lines (home, auto, renters, BOP, GL, commercial property).
· Generate accurate quotes, navigate carrier systems, issue new policies, process endorsements, and manage renewals.
· Work directly with underwriters, submit applications, escalate exceptions, and track binding progress.
· Maintain detailed records in our agency management system and adhere to state regulations.
· Serve as the first point of contact for claimants and advocate through the claims process.
· Represent A&A at community functions and events to build brand recognition and secure leads.
Required Qualifications
· Active Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required)
· Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales, client service, or production roles
· Strong knowledge of Texas-specific risks and coverages
· Highly organized, accountable, and coachable with excellent follow-up habits
· Professional communication skills and proficiency with quoting tools and CRM/AMS platforms
· Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Preferred (but not required)
· Experience with both personal and commercial lines
· Portable book of business (bonus consideration may apply)
· Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
· Familiarity with major Texas carriers (Progressive, Alfa, Travelers, Nationwide, etc.)

· Competitive base salary: $45,000 – $55,000, based on experience

Work Conditions
· Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional weekend availability
