General Manager – High-Volume Liquor Store
Location: Kingsland, Ga

About Us:
We are a busy, high-volume liquor store known for our wide selection, excellent customer service, and strong community presence. We’re seeking a results-driven, hands-on General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a dynamic team, and ensure the store runs efficiently and profitably.
Position Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, including staffing, inventory management, merchandising, compliance, budgeting, and customer satisfaction. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, retail management experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of employees to meet and exceed sales and service goals
• Oversee all store operations, including scheduling, payroll, and daily opening/closing procedures
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal stock levels and product variety
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local liquor laws and regulations
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and merchandising standards
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution in a professional manner
• Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and generate performance reports
• Enforce company policies and create a safe, respectful work environment
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of retail management experience (liquor, grocery, or other high-volume retail preferred)
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret sales data
• Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain/maintain required permits or licenses
