Job Description
Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Germantown, WI (On-Site)
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Installs statistical sampling processes
- Improves and monitors inspection processes
- Creates work instructions
- Creates and submits PPAP documents (PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow)
- Writes procedures
- Specifies inspection and testing equipment
- Helps formulate quality assurance policies
- Conducts audits
- Interfaces with engineering, customers and suppliers
- Issues corrective action reports
- Conducts supplier audits
Assesses potential new suppliers
- Performs supplier corrective action verification activities
- Prepares training materials
- Provides training
- Participate in communicating, developing and implementing best practices across company.
Relationships & Contacts:
1. Supervisory Relationships:
- Reports to Quality Manager
2. Organizational Relationships:
- Frequent contact with Managers, Supervisors, Engineering, Production Operators and Purchasing personnel.
3. External Relationships:
- Suppliers
- Customers
- Auditors
- Contractors

Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma and related further education e.g., vocational schooling, formal training, or certificate program completion.
- ASQ certification is preferred.
- 3 years of quality experience in manufacturing environment.
- GD&T application and interpretation
- CMM, 3D scanning, vision system equipment programming and operation.
- Proficient use of conventional measurement tools and methods.
