A K-12 public school in San Bernardino, CA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position with a caseload primarily focused on PreK through 5th grade students. This opportunity starts ASAP and offers a full-time, onsite role supporting early childhood and elementary learners throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in grades PreK-5.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify communication needs.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Stay informed about new tools and resources, including any updates related to SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) or VOCO support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly PreK-5th grade.
  • Knowledge of educational speech therapy best practices and assessment tools.
  • Ability to work onsite and coordinate with school personnel and families.
  • Flexibility and readiness to start as soon as possible.
