Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available at a K-12 school located in Naperville, IL, from August 18, 2023, through May 29, 2026. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from PreK to 8th grade, providing targeted speech and language interventions in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students in PreK through 8th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and monitor students progress to ensure achievement of communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid School Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 60 students efficiently.

Schedule and Location:

  • Position based in Naperville, IL.
  • School day hours: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Approximately 30 hours per week.
  • Contract duration aligned with the school year calendar.
