ENG Technician I

Volt is immediately hiring an Engineering Technician in Clarkston, Georgia with a well-known industry leader.   

This is a first shift position.
As an Engineering Technician you will:

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes.
• Improve process flow, reduce cycle times, and boost throughput.
• Provide expert support for complex production issues.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Adhere to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
• Maintain detailed process documentation and SOPs.
• Train production personnel on process updates.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
• Performs tasks to assist engineers such as preliminary research, initial drawings or diagrams, design modification, or testing.
• Maintains detailed process documentation, creates operating procedures and/or updates documents as needed.  

  This is a full-time contingent opportunity

Estimated Duration 24+ months

The ideal candidate will have:

• 1 year of experience in specific manufacturing industries (chemical, electronics, medical device).
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skillss

Pay Rate: $25.00-26.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
