Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time position is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a K-12 school located in Peck, MI. This state-approved contract runs for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning August 25, 2025, and concluding June 4, 2026.

The role involves providing comprehensive speech-language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Responsibilities include assessing student communication abilities, planning and implementing Multidisciplinary Evaluation Team (MET) and Individualized Education Program Team (IEPT) meetings, and delivering written evaluation reports to parents/guardians and local educational agencies. Collaboration is key, as the selected professional will consult with teachers, principals, ancillary staff, and families to evaluate program effectiveness and ensure tailored student support. Additionally, accurate completion of Medicaid and related reporting duties is expected.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license with CCC certification. The position offers full-time hours and oversight is provided by district personnel, including support from trained paraprofessionals or certified staff such as RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs, depending on district resources.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Michigan SLP license with CCC certification
  • Experience conducting speech and language assessments for K-12 students
  • Ability to coordinate and participate in MET and IEPT meetings
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and collaboration
  • Familiarity with Medicaid documentation and educational regulations
  • Effective consultation skills working with educators, administrators, and families
