Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA - School) to provide essential services in a K-12 educational setting in Houston, TX. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, starting August 4th, with a schedule of 37.5 hours per week over five days.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas State SLP or SLPA license
- Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and/or high school levels
- Strong ability to assess and treat communication disorders within a school environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy services to students
- Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans based on students needs
- Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Supporting students communication goals to enhance academic performance and social interaction
