Now Hiring: Customer Service Representatives for Open Enrollment. This is a remote opportunity available to residents of New Jersey only. Qualified candidates MUST reside in New Jersey.
Job Title: Remote Customer Service Representative – Open Enrollment
Location: Remote (New Jersey residents only)
Start Date: September 22
Pay Rate:
• $18.00/hour for English-speaking representatives
• $19.00/hour for bilingual (English/Spanish) representatives
Training Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (3 weeks)
Candidates must be available to work during the following hours:
Open Enrollment Period (November 1 – January 31):
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
• Last two Sundays of Open Enrollment: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
• Last three days of Open Enrollment: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM EST
Post-Enrollment (1 week after):
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
Job Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming calls from consumers, including the general public and prospective enrollees
• Respond to inbound and outbound contacts in accordance with performance standards and privacy policies
• Process healthcare applications, including eligibility determinations and enrollment
• Handle life event changes, demographic updates, disenrollment requests, and special enrollment periods
• Fulfill requests for materials via mail, email, or download
• Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers
• Escalate calls or issues to designated staff as needed
• Attend meetings and training sessions; maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs and systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months of experience
• Strong data entry and telephone skills
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred
• Customer service and call center experience preferred
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
