Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time position provides an opportunity to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting in Washington, PA. The role involves delivering speech-language pathology services throughout the current school year, with the potential for contract renewal based on performance and district needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address students' speech and communication needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to monitor student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with state regulations
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification appropriate for a school setting
- Must possess current Pennsylvania Clearances
- Experience working with a diverse K-12 student caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload effectively
