Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a K-12 school setting in Elida, New Mexico. This contract position runs from August 4th, 2025, through June 6th, 2026, with a work schedule of 35 hours per week over 5 days. The role involves providing speech-language pathology services to students across all grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- New Mexico Department of Education Licensure in Speech Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to provide bilingual therapy services is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
- Develop individualized treatment plans and track student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant state and federal regulations
